What is a Muster Station :
Muster station is a place onboard ship where all the ship’s crew gathers upon hearing the emergency alarm.
Normally, two muster stations are there onboard ship – one is primary muster station and other is secondary muster station.
The primary muster station is normally located on the upper deck near the life boat, on either port side or on starboard side.
The secondary muster station will be a bridge or a cargo control room or alleyway of the ‘A’ Deck.
